نا الْحُسَنُ بْنُ نَصْرِ الْمُعَارِكِ الْمِصْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَارَةُ بْنُ الْقَعْقَاعِ ، نا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَرِيرٍ ، نا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا نَهَضَ فِي الثَّانِيَةِ اسْتَفْتَحَ بِـ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ وَلَمْ يَسْكُتْ "
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would stand up for the second rak‘ah, he would start the recitation from « الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ » and would not pause.
