(104) بَابُ الْأَمْرِ بِتَحْمِيدِ الْمَأْمُومِ رَبَّهُ- عَزَّ وَجَلَّ- عِنْدَ رَفْعِ الرَّأْسِ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ، وَرَجَاءُ مَغْفِرَةِ ذُنُوبِهِ إِذَا وَافَقَ تَحْمِيدُهُ تَحْمِيدَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ104| Command for the follower to praise his Lord when rising from bowing and hope for forgiveness if his praise coincides with the angels'
Hadith 1597
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَلْقَمَةَ الْهَاشِمِيَّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " مَنْ أَطَاعَنِي فَقَدْ أَطَاعَ اللَّهَ ، وَمَنْ عَصَانِي ، فَقَدْ عَصَى اللَّهَ ، وَمَنْ أَطَاعَ الأَمِيرَ فَقَدْ أَطَاعَنِي ، وَمَنْ عَصَى الأَمِيرَ ، فَقَدْ عَصَانِي ، إِنَّمَا الإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ ، فَإِذَا صَلَّى قَاعِدًا ، فَصَلُّوا قُعُودًا ، وَإِذَا قَالَ : سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ ، فَقُولُوا : اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ ، فَإِذَا وَافَقَ قَوْلُ أَهْلِ الأَرْضِ قَوْلَ أَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ ، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا مَضَى مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ ، وَيَهْلِكُ كِسْرَى وَلا كِسْرَى بَعْدُ ، وَيَهْلِكُ قَيْصَرُ وَلا وَقَيْصَرَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ "
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever obeys me has indeed obeyed Allah, and whoever disobeys me has certainly disobeyed Allah. And whoever obeys the leader has undoubtedly obeyed me, and whoever disobeys the leader has certainly disobeyed me. Indeed, the Imam is a shield, so when he sits and prays, you should also sit and pray. And when he says '« سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ »', you should say '« رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الحَمْدُ »'. When the statement of the people of the earth becomes in accordance with the statement of the people of the heavens, his past sins are forgiven. Kisra (the king of Persia) will perish, and after him there will be no Kisra, and Caesar (the king of Rome) will perish, and after him there will be no Caesar."
