(81) بَابُ الرُّخْصَةِ فِي شَقِّ أُولِي الْأَحْلَامِ، وَالنُّهَى لِلصُّفُوفِ إِذَا كَانُوا قَدِ اصْطَفُّوا عِنْدَ حُضُورِهِمْ لِيَقُومُوا فِي الصَّفِّ الْأَوَّلِ.81| Concession to split the first row for those of intellect and understanding if they have already lined up to move to the front row
Hadith 1574
نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ بِشْرِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ السُّلَمِيُّ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى ، قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ : ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ : عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ : " انْطَلَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصْلِحُ بَيْنَ بَنِي عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ ، فَحَضَرَتِ الصَّلاةُ ، فَجَاءَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَتَقَدَّمَ النَّاسَ ، وَأَنْ يَؤُمَّهُمْ ، فَجَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَخَرَقَ الصُّفُوفَ حَتَّى قَامَ فِي الصَّفِّ الْمُقَدَّمِ " . ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِطُولِهِ . وَهَذَا اللَّفْظُ الَّذِي ذَكَرَهُ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went to reconcile between Banu Amr bin Awf. (In his absence, the time for prayer came, so the muezzin came to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and requested him to lead the people in prayer. He started the prayer, then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) also arrived. He moved forward, passing through the rows, until he stood in the front row. Then the complete hadith was narrated. These are the words of the narration of Isma’il.
