Hadith 154
نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ، نا عَمِّي ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، أَنَّ حَبَّانَ بْنَ وَاسِعٍ ، حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ ، حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ الْمَازِنِيُّ ، يَذْكُرُ ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " تَوَضَّأَ فَمَضْمَضَ ، ثُمَّ اسْتَنْثَرَ ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلاثًا وَيَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى ثَلاثًا ، وَالأُخْرَى ثَلاثًا ، وَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ بِمَاءٍ غَيْرِ فَضْلِ يَدِهِ ، وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ حَتَّى أَنْقَاهُمَا "
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zayd bin Asim Mazni (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performing ablution. He (peace be upon him) rinsed his mouth, then cleaned his nose, then washed his face three times, washed his right hand three times and his left hand three times, and wiped his head with water other than the leftover water from his hand (i.e., with fresh water), and washed both his feet until he cleaned them thoroughly.
