(48) بَابُ ذِكْرِ دُعَاءِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِلْأَئِمَّةِ بِالرَّشَادِ48| The Prophet's (ﷺ) supplication for guidance for the imams
Hadith 1528
نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، وَالثَّوْرِيُّ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى ، عَنْ مُؤَمَّلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، كُلُّ هَؤُلاءِ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ ، وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ ، اللَّهُمَّ أَرْشِدِ الأَئِمَّةَ ، وَاغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤَذِّنِينَ " . هَذَا حَدِيثُ الأَشَجِّ . قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : رَوَاهُ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، وَأَفْسَدَ الْخَبَرَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The imam is responsible (for the prayer) and the muezzin is entrusted (with the correct time of the call to prayer). «اَرْشَدَ اللهُ الأ ئِمّةَ ، وَغَفَرَ لِلْمَؤَذِّنِيْنَ» O Allah, grant guidance and righteousness to the imams and forgiveness to the muezzins." This is the narration of Ashajj. Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that this narration has been reported by Ibn Numayr from A‘mash, and he has corrupted this narration.
