Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "The prayer of any one of you with the congregation is superior by more than twenty-five degrees than his prayer alone in his house or in the market. And this is because when any one of you performs ablution, he performs it well. Then he leaves his house only for the prayer, and with every step he takes, Allah raises him one degree and forgives him one sin." This is the narration of Bundar. In the narration of Abu Musa, it is: "or his sins are forgiven." In the narration of Bishr bin Khalid, Muslim bin Janadah, and Al-Dawraqi, the words are: "and his sins are forgiven." In the narration of Al-Dawraqi, it is: "until he enters the mosque."
