جماع أبواب صلاة الخوفChapters on Fear Prayer
(621) بَابُ صَلَاةِ الْإِمَامِ فِي شِدَّةِ الْخَوْفِ بِكُلِّ طَائِفَةٍ مِنَ الْمَأْمُومِينَ رَكْعَةًThe chapter on the imam's prayer in severe fear, leading each group of followers in one unit
Hadith 1346
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ الأَخْنَسِ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " فَرَضَ اللَّهُ الصَّلاةَ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّكُمْ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْحَضَرِ أَرْبَعًا ، وَفِي السَّفَرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ، وَفِي الْخَوْفِ رَكْعَةً "
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that Allah Almighty has made obligatory, through the tongue of your Prophet (peace be upon him), four rak‘ahs in residence, two rak‘ahs in travel, and one rak‘ah in a state of fear.
