Hadith 1306
نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ ، نَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلانَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، " نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْبَيْعِ وَالابْتِيَاعِ ، وَأَنْ تُنْشَدَ الضَّوَالُّ ، وَعَنْ تَنَاشُدِ الأَشْعَارِ ، وَعَنِ التَّحَلُّقِ لِلْحَدِيثِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَبْلَ الصَّلاةِ " يَعْنِي فِي الْمَسْجِدِ
Sayyiduna Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade buying and selling in the mosque, announcing lost items, reciting poetry, and forming circles for conversation before the prayer on Friday.
