(583) بَابُ فَضْلِ الْمَسَاجِدِ إِذْ هِيَ أَحَبُّ الْبِلَادِ إِلَى اللَّهِThe chapter on the virtue of mosques, as they are the most beloved places to Allah
Hadith 1293
نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ الْبَرْقِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مِكْتَلٍ ، وَأَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي ذُبَابٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ مَوْلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أَحَبُّ الْبِلادِ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَسَاجِدُهَا ، وَأَبْغَضُ الْبِلادِ إِلَى اللَّهِ أَسْوَاقُهَا "
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The most beloved places to Allah in the cities are its mosques, and the worst places to Allah are the markets."
