Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said during his illness in which he passed away, "Pour seven water-skins of water over me whose knots (cords, ties) have not been untied, perhaps I will feel relief and be able to advise the people." Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says, "We seated the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in Lady Hafsa's (may Allah be pleased with her) brass tub and poured water over him from her water-skins, until the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began to gesture to us that you have fulfilled (the command)." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went out. The Imam narrates a similar report from Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) through another chain, but in it these words are not mentioned « من نحاس » "brass tub" and « ثم خرج » then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went out.
