جماع أبواب ذكر الماء الذي لا ينجس، والذي ينجس إذا خالطته نجاسةChapters on Water that is Pure and Impure
(92) بَابُ الرُّخْصَةِ فِي الْوُضُوءِ بِأَقَلَّ مِنْ قَدْرِ الْمُدِّ مِنَ الْمَاءِChapter 92: Permission to perform ablution with less than a mudd of water
Hadith 118
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ بْنِ كُرَيْبٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، نا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ زَيْدٍ وَهُوَ حَبِيبُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أُتِيَ بِثُلُثَيْ مُدٍّ فَجَعَلَ يَدْلُكُ ذِرَاعَهُ "
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that two-thirds of a mudd of water was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He (peace be upon him) performed ablution with it and thoroughly rubbed his arms.
