(509) بَابُ ذِكْرِ عَدَدِ صَلَاةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِاللَّيْلِThe chapter on the number of units the Prophet prayed at night
Hadith 1165
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ ، نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأُمَوِيُّ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " صَلَّى بَعْدَ الْعَتَمَةِ ثَلاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed thirteen rak‘ahs after the ‘Isha prayer.
