Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah

Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would get up at night for Tahajjud, he would recite this supplication: « اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ، أَنْتَ نُورُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ قَيِّمُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ مَلِكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ، أَنْتَ الْحَقُّ وَوَعْدُكَ حَقٌّ، وَقَوْلُكَ حَقٌّ، وَلِقَاؤُكَ حَقٌّ، وَالْجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ، وَالنَّارُ حَقٌّ، وَالسَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ، وَالنَّبِيُّونَ حَقٌّ، وَمُحَمَّدٌ حَقٌّ، اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ، وَبِكَ خَاصَمْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ حَاكَمْتُ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ، وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ، وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ، أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ ـ أَوْ ـ لاَ إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ ‏» . "O Allah, all praise is for You; You are the Light of the heavens, the earth, and whatever is in them. And all praise is for You; You are the Sustainer and Maintainer of the heavens, the earth, and whatever is within them. All praise is for You; You are the Owner of the heavens, the earth, and whatever is in them. All praise is due to You alone; You are the Truth, and meeting You is the truth, Your promise and punishment are true, and the punishment of the grave is true—Paradise is true, Hell is also true, the Hour is true, the graves are true, and Muhammad is true and truthful. O Allah, I have believed in You, I have submitted to You, I have placed my trust in You, and I have turned towards You, and with Your guidance and proofs I dispute (with Your opponents), and I seek judgment from You. So forgive my past and future sins, my hidden and open sins—all of them. You are the One Who brings forward and the One Who delays. There is no deity worthy of worship except You, and none is worthy of worship besides You." Abdul Kareem narrated these additional words: "There is no true deity except You, and all strength and power is only with Allah's help."
