Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that some people or some men from the tribes of ‘Ukl and ‘Uraynah came to the service of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in Madinah Munawwarah and announced their acceptance of Islam. They said, “O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), we are people who keep livestock (we herd animals) and we are not farmers.” Then the climate of Madinah Munawwarah did not suit them (so they became ill). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that some camels and a shepherd be given to them, and instructed them to go out (outside Madinah Munawwarah) with those camels and drink their urine and milk. Then the complete hadith was narrated.
