جماع أبواب ذكر الماء الذي لا ينجس، والذي ينجس إذا خالطته نجاسةChapters on Water that is Pure and Impure
(88) بَابُ الرُّخْصَةِ فِي الْوُضُوءِ مِنَ الْمَاءِ يَكُونُ فِي جُلُودِ الْمَيْتَةِ إِذَا دُبِغَتْChapter 88: Permission to use water in tanned skins of dead animals
Hadith 114
نا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : أَرَادَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَتَوَضَّأَ مِنْ سِقَاءٍ ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ : إِنَّهُ مَيِّتَةٌ ، قَالَ : " دِبَاغُهُ يَذْهَبُ بِخُبْثِهِ أَوْ نَجَسِهِ أَوْ رِجْسِهِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), he says that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to perform ablution from a waterskin. It was said to him that this is (a waterskin) made from the hide of a dead (animal). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Its tanning removes its impurity, filth, and uncleanness."
