(453) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الْخَبَرِ الْمُفَسِّرِ لِلَّفْظَتَيْنِ الْمُجْمَلَتَيْنِ اللَّتَيْنِ ذَكَرْتُهُمَا فِي الْبَابَيْنِ الْمُقَدَّمَيْنِ،The chapter explaining the two general phrases mentioned in the previous two chapters
Hadith 1086
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ يُونُسَ ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ ، أَيْضًا أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِدْرِيسَ ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ جَمِيعًا عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى ، نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ وَهُوَ الأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ خَافَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ لا يَسْتَيْقِظَ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ ، فَلْيُوتِرْ مِنْ أَوَّلِهِ ، وَلْيَرْقُدْ ، وَمَنْ طَمِعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَسْتَيْقِظَ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ فَلْيُوتِرْ مِنْ آخِرِهِ ؛ فَإِنَّ صَلاةَ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ مَحْضُورَةٌ ، فَذَلِكَ أَفْضَلُ " هَذَا حَدِيثُ عِيسَى وَفِي حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ ، وَأَبِي عَوَانَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever among you fears that he will not be able to wake up in the last part of the night, then he should offer Witr at the beginning of the night and go to sleep. And whoever among you hopes to wake up in the last part of the night, then he should offer Witr in the last part, for indeed, the angels are present in the prayer of the last part of the night, and it is more virtuous." This is the narration of Isa. In the narration of Jarir and Abu Awanah, these words are present: "I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)."
