Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah
(410) بَابُ إِسْقَاطِ فَرْضِ الصَّلَاةِ عَنِ الْحَائِضِ أَيَّامَ حَيْضِهَا410 Chapter: Dropping the Obligation of Prayer from a Menstruating Woman during Her Menses.
Hadith 1000
نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيَّ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ فَوَعَظَهُمْ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " يَا مَعْشَرَ النِّسَاءِ ، إِنَّكُنَّ أَكْثَرُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ " ، فَقَالَتِ امْرَأَةٌ جَزْلَةٌ : وَبِمَ ذَاكَ ؟ قَالَ : " بِكَثْرَةِ اللَّعْنِ ، وَكُفْرِكُنَّ الْعَشِيرَ ، وَمَا رَأَيْتُ مِنَ نَاقِصَاتِ عَقْلٍ وَدِينٍ أَغْلَبَ لِذَوِي الأَلْبَابِ وَذَوِي الرَّأْيِ مِنْكُنَّ " قَالَتِ امْرَأَةٌ : مَا نُقْصَانُ عُقُولِنَا وَدِينِنَا ؟ قَالَ : " شَهَادَةُ امْرَأَتَيْنِ مِنْكُنَّ بِشَهَادَةِ رَجُلٍ ، وَنُقْصَانُ دِينِكُنَّ الْحَيْضَةُ ، تَمْكُثُ إِحْدَاكُنَّ الثَّلاثَ أَوِ الأَرْبَعَ لا تُصَلِّي "
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) delivered a sermon to the people, giving them admonition and advice, then said: "O assembly of women, indeed you are the majority of the inhabitants of Hell." So an eloquent and articulate woman asked, "What is the reason for that?" He (peace be upon him) said: "Because you frequently curse and are ungrateful to your husbands." (Then he said:) "Despite being deficient in intellect and religion, I have not seen anyone more overpowering to a man of reason and wisdom than you." A woman asked, "What is our deficiency in intellect and religion?" He (peace be upon him) said: "The testimony of two women among you is equal to the testimony of one man (this is a proof of deficiency in intellect), and the deficiency in your religion is due to menstruation, for one of you does not pray for three or four days (because of menstruation)."
