باب صفة النار وأهلها - ذكر وصف غلظ الكافر في النار نعوذ بالله منها-

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " غِلَظُ الْكَافِرِ اثْنَانِ وَأَرْبَعُونَ ذِرَاعًا بِذِرَاعِ الْجَبَّارِ ، وَضِرْسُهُ مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ " ، الْجَبَّارُ : مَلِكٌ بِالْيَمَنِ ، يُقَالُ لَهُ : الْجَبَّارُ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The thickness of the disbeliever will be forty-two cubits, according to the cubit of the Jabbar, and his height will be like the mountain of Uhud." Jabbar was the ruler of Yemen and was called Jabbar.
