Hadith 7478
Sayyiduna Hakim bin Hizam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded women to give charity and encouraged them to do so. He said: "Give charity, for the majority of the inhabitants of Hell are from among you." One of the women asked: "O Messenger of Allah! What is the reason for this?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Because you frequently curse, deny good, and are ungrateful to your husbands."
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, said:) 'Ashir' refers to the husband.
Hadith 7479
Sayyiduna Hakim bin Hizam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: One day, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed the women, giving them advice and admonition, and commanded them to fear Allah and obey their husbands. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Some women among you will enter Paradise—the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) brought his fingers together—and some women will be the fuel of Hell—the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) spread his fingers apart while saying this. Then one of the women, who belonged to the Maard or perhaps Murad tribe, asked: O Messenger of Allah! What is the reason for this? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Because you are ungrateful to your husbands, you curse excessively, and you avoid doing good.
