Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "When the people of Paradise will enter Paradise and the people of Hell will enter Hell, then death will be brought and placed between Paradise and Hell, and then it will be slaughtered. Then a caller will announce: O people of Paradise, now there is no death! O people of Hell, now there is no death! As a result, the happiness of the people of Paradise will increase and the sorrow of the people of Hell will increase." (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) A‘mash has narrated from Abu Salih from Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that death will be brought in the form of a ram. We have not narrated this narration because its chain is not connected. Shuja‘ bin Waleed has narrated it from A‘mash; he says: I heard people narrating it from Abu Salih. The words of the narration "death will be brought" mean that death will be brought in the form of an entity. It does not mean that death itself will be brought.
