Ibn Hibban

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Do you know who among Allah's creation will be the first to enter Paradise?" The people replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Among Allah's creation, the first to enter Paradise will be the poor emigrants, for whom the paths were closed and calamities were created for them. When one of them would die, his need would remain in his chest and he would not have the ability to fulfill it. Then Allah, from among the angels, will say to whomever He wills: Bring them and greet them with peace. The angels will say, 'O our Lord! We are the inhabitants of Your heavens and the best among Your creation. Are You commanding us to go to them and greet them with peace?' The Lord will say: These are the servants who worshipped Me and did not associate anyone with Me. The paths were closed for them and calamities were created for them. When one of them died, his need remained in his chest and he did not have the ability to fulfill it." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) says: "At that time, the angels will come to those people and will enter upon them from every door (and will say what is mentioned in the Qur'an): 'Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured. And excellent is the final home.'"
