Ibn Hibban

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We said, "O Messenger of Allah! When we are present with you, our hearts become soft and we become concerned about the Hereafter, but when we leave you, the world becomes dear to us and we become engrossed with our wives and children." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If you were to remain in the same state as you are when you are with me, the angels would begin to shake hands with you with their own hands, and if you did not commit sins while staying in your homes, Allah would bring people who would commit sins so that Allah could forgive them." The narrator says: We said, "O Messenger of Allah! Tell us about Paradise and its construction." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "One brick of it is of gold and one brick is of silver. Its mortar is of fragrant musk. Its pebbles are pearls and rubies. Its soil is saffron. Whoever enters it will always remain in blessings, will never be distressed, will always live and never die, his clothes will never wear out, and his youth will never fade." There are three people whose supplication is not rejected: a just ruler, a fasting person when he breaks his fast, and an oppressed person whose supplication rises above the clouds. The gates of the heavens are opened for it, and the Lord says: 'By My honor! I will surely help you, even if after some time.'"
