Hadith 7372
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ حَاسِبْنِي حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا " ، قَالَتْ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَا الْحِسَابُ الْيَسِيرُ ؟ قَالَ : " أَنْ يَنْظُرَ فِي سَيِّئَاتِهِ وَيَتَجَاوَزُ لَهُ عَنْهَا ، إِنَّهُ مَنْ نُوقِشَ الْحِسَابَ يَوْمَئِذٍ هَلَكَ ، وَكُلُّ مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ يُكَفِّرُ عَنْهُ مِنْ سَيِّئَاتِهِ ، حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةُ تَشُوكُهُ " .
Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) saying, "O Allah, take an easy account from me." Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What is meant by an easy account?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(It means) that the Lord looks at a person's book of deeds and then forgives his sins, because on that day, whoever is strictly taken to account will be doomed." Whatever calamity befalls a believer, it erases his sins, even if it is a thorn that pricks him (that too erases his sins)."
