Hadith 7360
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْجُنَيْدِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَرَأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَذِهِ الآيَةَ : يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا ، قَالَ : " أَتَدْرُونَ مَا أَخْبَارُهَا ؟ " ، قَالُوا : اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ ، قَالَ : " فَإِنَّ أَخْبَارَهَا أَنْ تَشْهَدَ عَلَى كُلِّ عَبْدٍ ، وَأَمَةٍ بِمَا عَمِلَ عَلَى ظَهْرِهَا أَنْ تَقُولَ : عَمِلَ كَذَا وَكَذَا فِي يَوْمِ كَذَا وَكَذَا ، فَهَذِهِ أَخْبَارُهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "That Day (the earth) will declare its information."
The narrator states: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do you know what its information will be? The people replied: Allah and His Messenger know best. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Its information will be that it will testify against every servant and every maid regarding what they did on its back. It will say: This person did such and such deed on such and such day, so this will be its information.
