Hadith 7352
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ سَلْمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، أَنَّ أَبَا السَّمْحِ حَدَّثَهُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ حُجَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " يُنْصَبُ لِلْكَافِرِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِقْدَارُ خَمْسِينَ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ ، وَإِنَّ الْكَافِرَ لَيَرَى جَهَنَّمَ ، وَيَظُنُّ أَنَّهَا مُوَاقِعَتُهُ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "On the Day of Resurrection, for the disbeliever, the day will be as long as fifty thousand years, and the disbelieving person will see Hell and will think that he will keep falling into it for forty years."
