Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) stood among us to deliver a sermon and said: O people! You will be resurrected (on the Day of Judgment) barefoot, naked, and uncircumcised. (The command of Allah, the Exalted, is:) "Just as We began the first creation, We shall repeat it. That is a promise binding upon Us. We will surely do it."
(The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:) Beware! The first to be clothed among the creation will be Ibrahim (Abraham), peace be upon him. Beware! Some individuals from my Ummah will be brought and taken to the left side, so I will say: O my Lord! These are my companions, these are my companions. Then it will be said: You do not know what they did after you. So I will say what a righteous servant said (as mentioned in the Qur'an): "As long as I was among them, I was a witness over them, but when You took me up, You were the Watcher over them, and You are a Witness over all things." This verse continues up to: "The Mighty, the Wise." Then it will be said: They turned back on their heels as apostates.
