باب إخباره صلى الله عليه وسلم عن البعث وأحوال الناس في ذلك اليوم - ذكر الإخبار عن وصف ما يخفف به طول يوم القيامة على المؤمنين-

Hadith 7334
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ دَرَّاجٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُ خَمْسِينَ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ ، فَقِيلَ : مَا أَطْوَلَ هَذَا الْيَوْمَ ؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ ، إِنَّهُ لَيُخَفِّفُ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِ حَتَّى يَكُونَ أَخَفَّ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ صَلاةٍ مَكْتُوبَةٍ يُصَلِّيهَا فِي الدُّنْيَا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): (Allah the Exalted says) "A day whose length will be fifty thousand years." It was asked how long this day will be. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: By the One in Whose hand is my soul, it will be easy (i.e., short) for the believer, to the extent that it will be even easier (i.e., shorter) for him than the time he used to take to perform an obligatory prayer in the world.
