Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said from the pulpit: "Allah, the Exalted, will grasp the heavens and the earth in His Hand of Power, then He will say: I am Allah. Then He will close His fingers, then open them, then He will say: I am the Most Merciful, I am the King." (The narrator says:) To the extent that I looked at the pulpit and saw that it was shaking beneath the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), until I thought that it might fall with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) upon it.
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The words of the narration: "He was closing and opening his fingers," by this is meant the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), not Allah, the Exalted.
