Hadith 7294
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ بِتُسْتَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زِمَامٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَوَاءٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُبَيْلُ بْنُ عَزْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي جَمْرَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " خَيْرُ أَهْلِ الْمَشْرِقِ عَبْدُ الْقَيْسِ ، أَسْلَمَ النَّاسُ كَرْهًا ، وَأَسْلَمُوا طَائِعِينَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Among the people of the East, the best are the people of the tribe of Abdul Qais. Other people accepted Islam by compulsion, but these people accepted Islam willingly."
