Hadith 7276
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ حِسَابٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَقْطَعَ الأَنْصَارَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ ، أَوْ قَالَ : طَائِفَةً مِنْهَا ، فَقَالُوا : لا ، حَتَّى تُقْطِعَ إِخْوَانَنَا مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ مِثْلَ الَّذِي أَقْطَعْتَنَا ، قَالَ : " أَمَا إِنَّكُمْ سَتَلْقَوْنَ بَعْدِي أَثَرَةً ، فَاصْبِرُوا حَتَّى تَلْقَوْنِي " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) granted estates in Bahrain to the Ansar (the narrator is unsure, perhaps these are the words:) granted estates to some individuals from the Ansar. They said: No, not until you grant our Muhajir brothers the same as you have granted us. We will not accept it until then. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: After me, you will face preferential treatment (given to others over you), so be patient until you meet me.
