Hadith 7269
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَوْلا الْهِجْرَةُ ، لَكُنْتُ امرءاًً مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ ، وَلَوْ يَنْدَفِعُ النَّاسُ شِعْبًا ، وَالأَنْصَارُ فِي شِعْبِهِمْ ، لانْدَفَعْتُ مَعَ الأَنْصَارِ فِي شِعْبِهِمْ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If there had been no migration, I would have been one of the Ansar. If people were in one mountain pass and the Ansar were in another mountain pass, I would be with the Ansar in their mountain pass."
