Hadith 7265
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْجَرَادِيُّ بِالْمَوْصِلِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ الأَنْصَارَ كَرِشِي وَعَيْبَتِي ، وَإِنَّ النَّاسَ يَكْثِرُونَ وَيَقِلُّونَ ، فَاقْبَلُوا مِنْ مُحْسِنِهِمْ ، وَاعْفُوا عَنْ مُسِيئِهِمْ " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, the Ansar are the closest to me. People will keep increasing while they will keep decreasing. Accept the goodness of the good among them and overlook the bad of their bad ones."
