Hadith 7256
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى زَحْمَوَيْهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدَةُ بْنُ أَبِي رَائِطَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُغَفَّلِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اللَّهَ اللَّهَ فِي أَصْحَابِي ، لا تَتَّخِذُوا أَصْحَابِي غَرَضًا ، مَنْ أَحَبَّهُمْ فَبِحُبِّي أَحَبَّهُمْ ، وَمَنْ أَبْغَضَهُمْ ، فَبِبُغْضِي أَبْغَضَهُمْ ، وَمَنْ آذَاهُمْ ، فَقَدْ آذَانِي ، وَمَنْ آذَانِي ، فَقَدْ آذَى اللَّهَ ، وَمَنْ آذَى اللَّهَ يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَأْخُذَهُ " ، قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ : هَذَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرُّومِيُّ بَصْرِيٌّ ، رَوَى عَنْهُ حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، مَاتَ قَبْلَ أَيُّوبَ السِّخْتِيَانِيِّ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mughaffal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Fear Allah regarding my companions, do not make them a target (of criticism). Whoever loves them, will love them because of his love for me, and whoever harbors enmity towards them, will do so because of his enmity towards me. Whoever causes them pain, has caused me pain, and whoever causes me pain, has (as if) caused Allah Almighty pain. And whoever causes Allah Almighty pain, soon Allah Almighty will seize him." (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) This narrator named Abdullah bin Abdur Rahman is a Rumi Basri, from whom Hammad bin Zaid has narrated traditions. He passed away before Ayyub Sakhtiyani.
