Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Seventy thousand people from my Ummah will enter Paradise without any reckoning." The narrator states: Then Sayyiduna ‘Ukasha bin Mihsan (may Allah be pleased with him) requested: O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah that He includes me among them. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed: O Allah! Include him among them. Another person requested: Pray to Allah that He includes me among them. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘Ukasha has preceded you in this regard.

(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The statement of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "‘Ukasha has preceded you in this regard" is, in wording, information about an action related to a past time. But by this, what is meant is to prohibit that thing for which these words are generally used, and that is: when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) had already prayed for Sayyiduna ‘Ukasha (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: O Allah, include him among them, then it was not appropriate for another person to stand up (with the same request), because if the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) had prayed for him as well, then a third and a fourth person would also have stood up, and the matter would have gone to such a situation for which there would be no end, and the warning of Allah Almighty which is for those people who belong to the Ummah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and who commit prohibited acts, would become invalid (that warning is) that Allah Almighty will enter such people into Hell. Therefore, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), through verbal information, refrained from such things, and by this, what is meant is to prohibit it.
