Hadith 7242
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا كَامِلُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ زِرٍّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، كَيْفَ تَعْرِفُ مَنْ لَمْ تَرَ مِنْ أُمَّتِكَ ؟ قَالَ : " غُرٌّ مُحَجَّلُونَ بُلْقٌ مِنْ آثَارِ الطَّهُورِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The people asked: O Messenger of Allah! How will you recognize those people who belong to your Ummah and whom you have not seen? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: They will have radiant foreheads due to the traces of ablution.
