Hadith 7234
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَوْهَبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، أَنَّ بَكْرَ بْنَ سَوَادَةَ حَدَّثَهُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَلا قَوْلَ اللَّهِ فِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ : رَبِّ إِنَّهُنَّ أَضْلَلْنَ كَثِيرًا مِنَ النَّاسِ ، فَمَنْ تَبِعَنِي ، فَإِنَّهُ مِنِّي ، وَقَالَ عِيسَى : إِنْ تُعَذِّبْهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ عِبَادُكَ ، إِلَى آخِرِ الآيَةِ ، قَالَ اللَّهُ : " يَا جِبْرِيلُ اذْهَبْ إِلَى مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَقُلْ لَهُ إِنَّا سَنُرْضِيكَ فِي أُمَّتِكَ ، وَلا نَسُوؤُكَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) recited Allah Almighty’s statement about Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him) (the command of Allah Almighty is: Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him) said:), "O my Lord! Indeed, they (the idols) have led many people astray, so whoever follows me, he is of me." (The command of Allah Almighty is:) Sayyiduna Isa (peace be upon him) said: "If You punish them, they are Your servants." This is until the end of the verse. Allah Almighty said: O Jibril! Go to Muhammad and say to him that We will please you regarding your Ummah. We will not disgrace you.
