Hadith 7229
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِلالُ بْنُ يَسَافٍ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عِمْرَانَ بْنَ حُصَيْنٍ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " خَيْرُ النَّاسِ قَرْنِي ، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ " .
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best of my people are those of my generation, then those who come after them, then those who come after them, then those who come after them."
