أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الأُمَوِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بُرْدَةَ بْنُ أَبِي مُوسَى ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : خَرَجْنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْبَحْرِ حَتَّى جِئْنَا مَكَّةَ ، وَإِخْوَتِي مَعِي فِي خَمْسِينَ مِنَ الأَشْعَرِيِّينَ وَسِتَّةٍ مِنْ عَكٍّ ، قَالَ أَبُو مُوسَى : فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ لِلنَّاسِ هِجْرَةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَكُمْ هِجْرَتَيْنِ " .
Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We set out on a sea journey to present ourselves before the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). We reached Makkah. With me were fifty companions from the Ash'ar tribe and six people from the 'Uk tribe. Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to say, "The people have made one migration, but you have made two migrations."
