Hadith 7180
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) stated that on the day of the Battle of Badr, we were standing in rows when suddenly drowsiness overcame us. Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I was also among those who were overtaken by drowsiness that day. My sword would fall from my hand and I would pick it up, then it would fall again and I would pick it up again. While the other group was that of the hypocrites; they were only concerned about themselves. These people were the most cowardly and the most disgraced. They would have unjust thoughts about Allah, the same thoughts as in the days of ignorance. These were the people who doubted and were suspicious about Allah’s command.
