Hadith 7132
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بِسْطَامٍ بِالأُبُلَّةِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْيَمَامِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي زُمَيْلٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا أَظَلَّتِ الْخَضْرَاءُ ، وَلا أَقَلَّتِ الْغَبْرَاءُ عَلَى ذِي لَهْجَةٍ أَصْدَقَ مِنْكَ يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ " ، قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ : يُشْبِهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ هَذَا خِطَابًا خَرَجَ عَلَى حَسَبِ الْحَالِ فِي شَيْءٍ بِعَيْنِهِ إِذْ مُحَالٌ أَنْ يَكُونَ هَذَا الْخَطَّابُ عَلَى عُمُومِهِ ، وَتَحْتَ الْخَضْرَاءِ الْمُصْطَفَى صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَالصِّدِّيقُ ، وَالْفَارُوقُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا .
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: The sky has not shaded any person, nor has the earth carried any person, who is more truthful than you, O Abu Dharr! (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) There is a possibility that this statement was made in accordance with a specific and determined situation, because it is impossible that these words were used in a general sense, as under the sky were also the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him), and Sayyiduna Umar Farooq (may Allah be pleased with him).
