Hadith 7126
Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: My mother said to me, "When was your last meeting with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?" I replied, "It has been such and such a period since I met the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)." So my mother began to reproach me. I said, "I will go to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), perform prayer with him, and he will supplicate for forgiveness for me and for you." Then I presented myself before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and performed the Maghrib prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed voluntary prayers along with those two prayers, then he departed. So I followed behind him. He asked me, "Who is it?" I replied, "Hudhayfah bin Yaman." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked, "Why have you come?" I informed him about what my mother had said to me. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "May Allah forgive you and your mother."
