Hadith 7114
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ مُرَّةَ الْهَمَدَانِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " كَمُلَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ كَثِيرٌ ، وَلَمْ يَكْمُلْ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ إِلا مَرْيَمُ بِنْتُ عِمْرَانَ ، وَآسِيَةُ امْرَأَةُ فِرْعَوْنَ ، وَفَضْلُ عَائِشَةَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ كَفَضْلِ الثَّرِيدِ عَلَى الطَّعَامِ " .
Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Many men have attained perfection, but among women, only Maryam bint Imran and Asiya, the wife of Pharaoh, have attained perfection. And the superiority of Aisha over all women is like the superiority of Tharid over all foods."
