Hadith 6985
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُعَافَى الْعَابِدُ بِصَيْدَا ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زُغْبَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ : مَنْ رَجُلٌ يَأْتِينَا بِخَبَرِ بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ ؟ فَقَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ : أَنَا ، فَذَهَبَ عَلَى فَرَسِهِ ، فَجَاءَ بِخَبَرِهِمْ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ الثَّانِيَةَ ، فَقَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ : أَنَا ، ثُمَّ قَالَ الثَّالِثَةَ ، فَقَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ : أَنَا ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيٌّ ، وَحَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: On the day of the Battle of the Trench, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Who will bring me information about Banu Qurayza? Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I will. Then he mounted his horse and brought information about them. Then the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said this a second time, so Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I will. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said this a third time, so Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I will. Then the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Every prophet has a disciple, and my disciple is Zubair bin Al-Awwam.
