Hadith 6972
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَلادُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ ، قَالَتْ : حَدَّثَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ عِنْدَ ابْنِ زِيَادٍ إِِذْ جِيءَ بِرَأْسِ الْحُسَيْنِ ، قَالَ : فَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ بِقَضِيبِهِ فِي أَنْفِهِ ، وَيَقُولُ : مَا رَأَيْتُ مِثْلَ هَذَا حُسْنًَا ، فَقُلْتُ : " أَمَا إِِنَّهُ كَانَ مِنْ أَشْبَهِهِمْ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I was present with Ibn Ziyad when the head of Sayyiduna Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) was brought. He touched his nose with his stick and said: I have never seen a person as beautiful as this. So I said: He most closely resembled the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
