Hadith 6964
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُبَارَكُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرَةَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي بِنَا ، وَكَانَ الْحَسَنُ يَجِيءُ وَهُوَ صَغِيرٌ ، فَكَانَ كُلَّمَا سَجَدَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَثَبَ عَلَى رَقَبَتِهِ وَظَهْرِهِ ، فَيَرْفَعُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأْسَهُ رَفَعًا رَقِيقًا حَتَّى يَضَعَهُ ، فَقَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِِنَّكَ تَصْنَعُ بِهَذَا الْغُلامِ شَيْئًا مَا رَأَيْنَاكَ تَصْنَعُهُ بِأَحَدٍ ، فَقَالَ : " إِِنَّهُ رَيْحَانَتِي مِنَ الدُّنْيَا ، إِِنَّ ابْنِي هَذَا سَيِّدٌ ، وَعَسَى اللَّهُ أَنْ يُصْلِحَ بِهِ بَيْنَ فِئَتَيْنِ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in prayer. Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) came—he was a small child at that time. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went into prostration, he climbed onto the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) neck and back. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gently raised his head until he had seated him on the ground. The people said: O Messenger of Allah! We have seen you do something with this child that we have not seen you do with anyone else. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He is my fragrance in this world; this son of mine is a leader. Soon Allah, the Exalted, will bring reconciliation between two great groups of Muslims because of him.
