Hadith 6961
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ سُرَيْجٍ النَّقَالُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْخُذُنِي فَيُقْعِدُنِي عَلَى فَخِذِهِ ، وَيُقْعِدُ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الأُخْرَى ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ إِِنِّي أَرْحَمُهُمَا فَارْحَمْهُمَا " .
Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to take me and seat me on one of his knees, and seat Sayyiduna Imam Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) on his other knee, then he would say: "O Allah! I show mercy to both of them, so You also show mercy to both of them."
