Hadith 6960
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، عَنْ إِِسْرَائِيلَ ، عَنْ مَيْسَرَةَ النَّهْدِيِّ ، عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ، قَالَ : أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَصَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ الْمَغْرِبَ ، ثُمَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي حَتَّى صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَاتَّبَعْتُهُ ، فَقَالَ : " عَرَضَ لِي مَلَكٌ اسْتَأْذَنَ رَبَّهُ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ عَلَيَّ ، وَبَشَّرَنِي أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ وَالْحُسَيْنَ سَيِّدَا شَبَابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ " .
Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I presented myself before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and performed prayer behind him. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up to perform prayer until he completed the ‘Isha prayer. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) departed and I followed him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: An angel came before me who had sought permission from his Lord to send salutations upon me. That angel gave me the glad tidings that Hasan and Husayn are the leaders of the youth of Paradise.
