Hadith 6950
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I have not seen anyone more merciful towards his family than the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Sayyiduna Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him), who was the son of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), was being nursed in a house in the outskirts of Madinah. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to go there, and we would go with him. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the house; the foster father of Sayyiduna Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him) was a blacksmith. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) would take the child, kiss him, and then return.
The narrator named Amr says: When Sayyiduna Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: My son Ibrahim was still a nursing child; in Paradise, there are two wet nurses to complete his nursing.
