ذكر قتال علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه على تأويل القرآن كقتال المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم على تنزيله-

Hadith 6937
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ رَجَاءٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " إِِنَّ مِنْكُمْ مَنْ يُقَاتِلُ عَلَى تَأْوِيلِ الْقُرْآنِ ، كَمَا قَاتَلْتُ عَلَى تَنْزِيلِهِ ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : أَنَا هُوَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : لا ، قَالَ عُمَرُ : أَنَا هُوَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : لا ، وَلَكِنْ خَاصِفُ النَّعْلِ ، قَالَ : وَكَانَ أَعْطَى عَلِيًّا نَعْلَهُ يَخْصِفُهُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "There is a person among you who will fight for the interpretation of the Qur'an just as I fought on the basis of its revelation." Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah! Will I be that person? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah! Will I be that person? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No, rather it will be the one who is mending the shoe. The narrator states: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had given his shoe to Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) so that he could mend it.
