Hadith 6922
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ بِتُسْتَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْحَسَّانَيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ السَّمَّانُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ عَبِيْدَةَ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : شَكَتْ لِي فَاطِمَةُ مِنَ الطَّحِينِ ، فَقُلْتُ لَوْ أَتَيْتِ أَبَاكِ فَسَأَلْتِيهِ خَادِمًا ، قَالَ : فَأَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَلَمْ تُصَادِفْهُ ، فَرَجَعَتْ مَكَانَهَا ، فَلَمَّا جَاءَ أُخْبِرَ ، فَأَتَانَا وَعَلَيْنَا قَطِيفَةٌ إِِذَا لَبِسْنَاهَا طُولا خَرَجَتْ مِنْهَا جُنُوبُنَا ، وَإِِذَا لَبِسْنَاهَا عَرْضًا خَرَجَتْ مِنْهَا أَقْدَامُنَا وَرُءُوسُنَا ، قَالَ : يَا فَاطِمَةُ ، أُخْبِرْتُ أَنَّكِ جِئْتِ ، فَهَلْ كَانَتْ لَكِ حَاجَةٌ ؟ قَالَتْ : لا ، قُلْتُ : بَلَى ، شَكَتْ إِِلَيَّ مِنَ الطَّحِينِ ، فَقُلْتُ : لَوْ أَتَيْتِ أَبَاكِ فَسَأَلْتِيهِ خَادِمًَا ، فَقَالَ : " أَفَلا أَدُلُّكُمَا عَلَى مَا هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمَا مِنْ خَادِمٍ ؟ إِِذَا أَخَذْتُمَا مَضَاجِعَكُمَا تَقُولانِ ثَلاثًا وَثَلاثِينَ ، وَثَلاثًا وَثَلاثِينَ ، وَأَرْبَعًا وَثَلاثِينَ ، تَسْبِيحَةً ، وَتَحْمِيدَةً ، وَتَكْبِيرَةً " .
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) used to face difficulty in grinding (grain), so I said: If you go to your father and ask him for a servant (that would be appropriate). Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) states: Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) went to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), but she did not meet the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so she returned home. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived and was informed, he came to us. We had covered ourselves with a sheet, so that when we covered ourselves lengthwise, our sides would be exposed, and when we covered ourselves widthwise, our feet and heads would be exposed. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Fatimah, I have heard that you came; did you need something? She replied: No. I said: Yes, there was something. She had complained to me about grinding, so I said: If you go to your father and ask him for a servant (that would be appropriate). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Shall I not guide you both to something better for you than having a servant? When you go to bed, recite Subhan Allah 33 times, Alhamdulillah 33 times, and Allahu Akbar 34 times.
